ERA Wallet Recap: November 2025 - August 2026

10 months of ERA Wallet development

The last ERA Wallet recap we published was in October 2025.

Since then, ERA Wallet has gained new features, integrations, networks, and security tools. But most importantly, the wallet has continued to evolve as users' needs become more complex.

From simpler use cases to more control, more networks, and more advanced capabilities.

⚙️ Development & Firmware

Over these 10 months, we have continuously expanded the capabilities of ERA Wallet - so users can get more from the same device as their needs grow.

More intuitive transaction handling

We continued improving transaction processing and display:

Solana and Tron;
EIP-712 and EIP-155 signing;
EVM dApp interaction;
QR connection with desktop wallets;
ERC-721 and ERC-1155.

In March, we added 27 decoding protocols, including DEXs and aggregators.

In June, ERA Lens gained support for Uniswap V2/V3, SushiSwap, Fly, and Aave V2/V3, while transaction decoding capabilities continued to expand.

ERA Wallet remains one device even as users' needs become more complex.

⏺ Bitcoin-Only and Multichain

In February, we introduced Bitcoin-Only Mode.

Users can now choose between a focused Bitcoin experience and Multichain Mode for working across different blockchains.

⏺ Quick Sign

In June, we made working with multiple seed phrases simpler. Since ERA supports up to 10 independent wallets with different seed phrases on a single device, ERA now automatically identifies the correct seed phrase when signing a transaction.

Fewer steps. Less confusion. Faster signing.

⏺ Other updates

During this period, we introduced:

Beta Channel;
Passwordless Wallets;
Quick Turn-On;
masked keyboard for seed phrase entry;
Russian and German language support;
battery optimization - 200+ signatures on a single charge.

🌐 More networks. More capabilities.

As a crypto portfolio grows, so does the number of tasks a wallet needs to handle.

In June, we added support for:

Litecoin
Dogecoin
Dash
Bitcoin Cash
Cardano
XRP
TON
Sui
29 Cosmos networks

We also continued expanding support for EVM networks and individual protocols.

🛡️ ERA Recovery Cards - now a standalone product

In May, ERA Recovery Cards became available as a standalone product.

The 3 Recovery Cards are still included with every ERA Wallet. Users can now also purchase additional sets separately - for an existing setup or an additional backup strategy.

This means users can expand their recovery strategy without having to change their device.

🧩 Integrations

ERA Wallet continues to grow as part of a broader self-custody ecosystem.

Sparrow Wallet

We added integration with Sparrow Wallet, expanding the ways ERA can be used within the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Guarda Wallet

In August, ERA Wallet integrated with Guarda Wallet.

Guarda supports more than 70 blockchains, swaps, staking, and desktop, mobile, web, and browser extension experiences.

This allows users to combine ERA's hardware-level security with a familiar software interface.

🔓 Open Source

In December, we opened a significant part of the ERA Wallet source code:

Main Firmware, ERA-Apps, ERA-Crypto, Bootloader, Bootstrapper, and Companion App.

Developers and security researchers can now independently examine key components of the device - from cryptography and key management to transaction signing, updates, and device authenticity verification.

Most repositories are released under BUSL 1.1, transitioning to GPLv3 after 3 years, while the Companion App is already fully open under GPLv3.

And this is only the first step.

We are continuing to prepare for fully open source code and reproducible builds, allowing the firmware build process to be independently reproduced and verified.

🎲 Entropy Generation

Against the backdrop of new attacks and vulnerabilities across the industry, we explained in detail how ERA generates the randomness used for seed phrase generation and opened the process up for verification.

We also tested raw data using NIST tests and published the results and a Google Colab notebook so our approach can be independently verified.

🌍 Reviews, Community & Events

During this period, ERA Wallet received reviews from notable crypto community creators and appeared in Best hardware wallet rankings.

Among the creators who reviewed ERA: Cyber Scrilla, The CryptoDad, Your Friend Andy, Crypto Familie, and others.

Bitcoin MENA 2025

In December, the ERA team attended Bitcoin MENA 2025, where we met Michael Saylor and gave him an ERA Wallet.

Istanbul Blockchain Week

In June, ERA Wallet participated in Istanbul Blockchain Week 2026

Hardware Wallet AMA

In August, ERA Wallet took part in two AMA sessions.

#LetsTalkCrypto Hardware Wallet AMA - together with LetsExchange and Ryder Wallet, we discussed the development of hardware wallets, self-custody, security, supported networks and assets, and the future of the market.

ERA Wallet × QuickEx AMA - together with QuickEx, we discussed ERA's safety-first approach to building a wallet, privacy, and the future development of the project.

Over the past 10 months, ERA Wallet has become much more flexible.

More networks. More integrations. More control. More ways to use the same wallet as your needs grow. And we are continuing in the same direction.

In August, we announced the next step - ERA Software Wallet.
